Start Playing Golf at Sandford Springs
Many of our members learnt and started to play golf for the first time at Sandford Springs. We are renowned as a friendly club that welcomes new golfers.
My Philosophy on learning golf:
Learning golf is not about having talent, anyone can play golf! Remember that there are blind golfers, golfers with one arm or one leg. The only thing stopping you learning to play golf is time!
Good coaching combined with putting in the time to practice will at some point help you reach a breakthrough! We all learn differently and good coaching will pay attention to that.
My aim with anyone starting golf is “I want to get you on the golf course as soon as possible”.
We have some great coaching options available if you are just starting the game that will help you progress and be a lot of fun!
Start Golf!
This is a new initiative for Sandford Springs. We are going to run regular group coaching sessions for beginners to ensure your Golf career gets off to the very best start!
The aim of 'Start Golf' is to introduce you to all aspects of the game from putting, chipping and getting the ball consistently in the air. The culmination of this course will be to introduce you to the golf course.

Learn golf @ Lunchtime:
A popular group coaching course for anyone who wants to learn to play golf at lunchtime. This course runs for 4 consecutive weeks and you will receive coaching for 30 minutes, once a week.
